The Tortoise and the Hare
The Tortoise and the Hare is a group project developed by a team of six artists, reimagining Aesop’s classic tale within the context of a magical duel between wizards in a school of sorcery. I was responsible for the character design of the hare, aiming to portray a bratty and prideful personality.
"In this spin on the classic fairytale, the Hare dares the Turtle to a magical duel."
The Seven Ravens
"Be careful what you wish for..."
The Seven Ravens is a story by the Brothers Grimm that tells of a young girl who embarks on a journey to rescue her seven brothers, who were accidentally turned into ravens by their father’s curse. She travels to the end of the world, where she encounters the sun and the moon, who are hostile, and the stars, who provide her with a chicken bone and directions to the Glass Mountain where her brothers are held. After sacrificing her finger to gain entry, she is finally reunited with them and breaks the curse
.
The visual approach aimed for a vibrant and lively style, similar to The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, in order to emphasize the story’s fantastical elements.
Martir
"The enemy depends on perspective."
An individual project that questions the timeless repression of the female body. The flapper, the protagonist of the piece, symbolizes a period in which women began to explore their freedom and autonomy, while the silhouettes of werewolves represent those who observe her as if she were prey for their pleasure or something to be judged with disdain.
Una Tacita Más
Agnes, a university student, finds herself in trouble as she faces her final exams and a long list of overdue assignments. To cope with her lack of sleep after long hours of work, she drinks an excessive amount of coffee, which causes her to begin hallucinating, altering her perception of the people and places around her.
She is surprised to discover that she has become a magical girl, that her dog Jack can now speak, and that her professor Federico has transformed into a gigantic and terrifying dragon. Agnes now has a new goal: to embark on an adventure to defeat Professor Federico and pass the class.

This project emerged from the collective intelligence of the Chavón Animation Class of 2026. We aimed to bring together ideas that, at first glance, seemed disconnected into a single narrative, enriched by our Concept Art pieces. Working in groups, we explored the wide variety of ideas for environments and character designs present among our peers, ultimately selecting from these options through a voting process. We would like to thank Professor Roberta Seravalle for her guidance not only on this assignment, but throughout the entire Concept Art course, as well as Chavón School of Design.
Mesa Para Dos
"A family dinner gets interrupted by enemy spies trying to tie up loose ends with the mother."
Vega is a devoted and caring mother who raises her son Nico with deep love and dedication. However, beneath her quiet life lies a hidden truth: she is a dormant agent being hunted by a dangerous organization. When her cover is exposed, she is intercepted and forced back into the life she left behind, compelled to resume her role as an agent in order to survive another day.

This project is a group production directed for Jonathan Schmidt. It is a 5 minute and 18 second action and comedy short film. Production began in September 2025 and was completed in mid-January 2026, involving the collaboration of 25 artists.
