My Love Stirred Up
“Idealizing someone is condemning them to disappoint you.”
Olivia, a young girl obsessed with video games, is about to make the most important decision of her playthrough when suddenly her laptop shuts off. Disappointed, Olivia goes to sleep thinking about her game, with no idea that when she wakes up, she will find herself inside it as the protagonist. Could this be her divine chance to finally finish it?
My Love Stirred Up is a group project I’ve been developing with my classmate during my time at Chavón School of Design. This 2 minutes 15 seconds fantasy comedy. The thesis project began production in mid-January 2026 and involved the collaboration of eight people, including illustrators and animation students from Chavón School of Design and Instituto Tecnológico de Las Américas.

Olivia Normal World
Olivia is a curious and kind young girl who greatly enjoys her time alone and rarely steps out of her comfort zone. She is passionate about games, fantasy, and romance. In real life, she has the appearance of someone comfortable in her home clothes, wearing glasses and giving off a nerdy vibe.
Olivia Game World
In the game, Olivia wears the school uniform, has short hair, and a more stylized appearance.
Ali
Ali is a lanky young boy with an androgynous appearance, inspired by Indian models. His personality is playful and competitive, as well as charismatic, mischievous, conceited, and perceptive though at times very obnoxious. He is also hard-headed and chaotic.
